Виховний захід“Halloween”

Мета:

• виховувати допитливість та стимулювати всебічний розвиток учнів;
• поширити знання учнів про свята й традиції в країнах вивчаємих мов;
• прищеплювати молоді інтерес до вивчення іноземних мов, народних звичаїв і традицій, культурної спадщини свого та інших народів;
• стимулювати учнів виховувати в собі особистість;
• розвивати творчий потенціал учнів, критичне мислення;
• розвивати інтелектуальні та емоційну сфери особистості молоді, її пізнавальні інтереси;
• підвищувати рівень мотивації вивчення іноземних мов;
• продемонструвати рівень володіння іноземними мовами.

1. Організаційний момент. Етап уведення учнів у іншомовну атмосферу

      Good morning, dear pupils! Today we are going to have an unusual lesson. It’ll be Halloween Quiz! We’ll learn much about Halloween, we’ll play, sing and dance a lot today! Let’s start!

We all dance and sing and recite,
“Welcome! Welcome, Halloween night!”

 Today we are going to celebrate a wonderful holiday – Halloween. Ghosts and witches are free and you can expect to meet them. In Britain it is a day for fun. There are always a lot of parties that night. Some people wear masks, others dress as ghosts and witches. Everybody is happy. At the parties both adults and children have fun, they play different merry games. Why don’t we have a funny party today too? Don't be afraid if you see ghosts, goblins and black cats at our party.

Інформація про свято

Хеллоуїн відзначається щороку 31 жовтня. Діти особливо люблять це свято, незважаючи на те, що шкільні заняття в цей день не скасовуються. Вранці до школи стікаються дивні істоти в масках і мальовничих костюмах, адже в більшості шкіл влаштовуються свята з частуванням - Halloween parties.
Але найцікавіше починається після уроків, коли діти в своїх костюмах вирушають по домівках «випрошувати солодощі. Звичайно. Господині до цього дня заздалегідь запасаються чим-небудь смачним для цих гостей. Але все ж, прийшовши в будинок. Належить сказати: "Trick or treat", що приблизно означає " Якщо не почастуєте, ми над вами пожартуємо".
Задовго до свята перетворюються будинку. Традиційне прикраса - порожній гарбуз з вирізаними очима, носом і ротом, всередину якої ставиться запалена свічка. Гарбуз (pumpkin), скелети (skeletons), примари (ghosts), чорні кішки, відьми (witches), будинкові (goblins), ворожіння (fortunetelling) - все це атрибути Хеллоуїна, а його колір - чорний і помаранчевий.
Можливо, всі ці символи прийшли з далеких часів. Коли люди, що жили на території Англії, Ірландії та Шотландії і називали себе кельтами, влаштовували спеціальні свята. Кельти спалювали зерно і тварин, приносячи їх в жертву злим силам, щоб ті не заподіяли шкоди людям.
Схожі традиції були і в інших країнах, наприклад, в Уельсі.
Люди, вбрані в костюми, влаштовували ходи, збираючи по дорозі у жителів частування. Костюми одягали і для того, щоб налякати і відігнати відьом та іншу нечисту силу. Для цього люди носили з собою факели і саморобні ліхтарі - ось звідки з'явився "Jack-o'-lantern"
